Hilary Duff got into the holiday festivities with a trip to a mall with her husband Matthew Koma, 36, and their daughters Banks, five, and Mae, two.
The Younger alum, 36, held Banks’ hand as they made their way through the seasonally decorated shopping center in Los Angeles.
Hilary – who took her kids to meet Santa last week – wore a long black coat over an oversized sweatsuit while her husband wore shorts and a hoodie.
Banks cut a fashionable figure in a silver jacket, white shirt and jeans while Mae showed off her girlie side in a pink Santa Claus print dress and pink sweater over pink leggings.
The family’s youngest carried a helium-filled balloon.

Earlier this week, the How I Met Your Father star sat down with Parade to talk about the holidays and specific traditions her family has.
‘I just love the holidays,’ she said, adding that her favorite day is Christmas Eve.
‘It’s a little more toned down. We all kind of cook together. We have some friends over. The kids each get to open a present from Mom and Dad, and it’s just a little bit more contained—and I really love that, being a Libra.’
And the Lizzie McGuire alum’s family is all in on the popular Elf on a Shelf trend – but their way of doing it is just a bit extra.
‘We are fully invested,’ Hilary said. ‘It’s just so fun and the kids love it.’
‘We have three elves,’ she revealed. ‘We have Jimmy, Jane and Jemma. [It’s] a big commitment!’
The busy mom gets some of her elf placement ideas from Instagram but she also gets a little help from a friend of hers.
‘I have this friend on the East Coast who will send me pictures of Elf on a Shelf and I’m like logging that one, logging that one— thank you for saving Christmas for my kids’ she joked.

And while her kids have their wish lists written and mailed to Santa, Hilary isn’t done making hers.
But she does have an idea of what she wants under the tree on Christmas morning.
‘I haven’t started making my list yet, but usually, it’s something shiny,’ she said.
‘I work really hard all year long. I do and do and do for the family, so I usually want something that comes in a small box that’s shiny.’
