Gwyneth Paltrow cut a classy figure while attending the star-studded opening of Swarovski’s new Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City on Tuesday.
The 51-year-old Goop founder — who stunned at the CFDA Fashion Awards the night prior — wore an elegant sleeveless white bustier-style dress that flared out at the bottom.
The Talented Mr. Ripley star teamed the chic look with a pair of white heels and wore a layer of crystal chains as her accessory for the night.
The mother-of-two wore her light blonde tresses parted in the middle and in a straight style.
The actress opted for delicate glam, with just a touch of blush on her cheeks and black mascara.
The event also celebrated Swarovski’s collaboration with Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand.
The night prior both Gwyneth and Kim, 41, attended the CFDA Fashion Awards.
Gwyneth looked sophisticated in a black turtleneck sweater tucked into a silk black maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit.
The Goop founder and CEO accepted the innovation award at the ceremony.
Gwyneth has not acted in nearly four years as she continues to grow er wellness brand Goop, but while at the event she revealed the one person who could convince her to make a return to the big screen – her Iron Man co-star Robert Downey Jr., 58.
‘Well, it would be very hard for me to do any acting right at the moment, just because of my job,’ she shared with Entertainment Tonight.
‘But I guess Robert Downey Jr. could probably always get me back,’ the star revealed, adding with a chuckle, ‘You know, to some degree.’
The pair have formed a close friendship over the years, with Paltrow starring as Pepper Potts alongside Downey Jr.’s superhero Marvel character, starting with 2008’s Iron Man and continuing through all of its sequels and Avengers movies.
Brad Pitt’s ex recently said she will ‘disappear from public life’ after selling her health company in a few years.
The Oscar winner has already stepped away from acting — her last major film was 2019’s Avengers: Endgame — and now she’s looking to sail off into the sunset without looking back.
‘I will literally disappear from public life,’ the stunning star said about her future retirement plans to Bustle. ‘No one will ever see me again.’
She echoed the sentiment later in the interview when asked if she would attempt to teach others how to age gracefully.
‘I’ll probably try, knowing myself. Or I might be like, “F*** this.” I might just disappear, and no one will ever see me again’.
For now, Gwyneth is focused on her wellness brand Goop, founded in 2008, but there’s an expiration date on it as well, as she hopes to sell the company in ‘a few more years’.
She said she will then turn her attention to more domestic issues, as she freely admits the work/life balancing act isn’t always easy.
‘I’m in a phase where I feel like things are just extra, extra messy because I have so much to do,’ she explained.
‘My son and stepson are both seniors in high school, and sometimes I feel like the college process is a full-time job in and of itself,’ she continued, referencing her son Moses, 17, whom she shares with her ex Chris Martin and her stepson Brody, 17, whom she shares with her husband Brad Falchuk.
Gwyneth also shares daughter Apple, 19, with Chris and stepdaughter Isabella with Brad.
‘So I’m trying to keep the domestic stuff on track, and we have a lot going on at the company… So I’m just f***ing up,’ she revealed.
‘I should say I’m trying to learn to be more tolerant with myself when I make messes, because I really don’t like it. It’s just one of those seasons.’
‘It’s like this fulcrum of life. I thought in my 50s I could downshift for some reason. I don’t really know why I thought that would happen.’
