Charlotte Hawkins was left red-faced on Friday’s episode of Good Morning Britain when her co-host Ben Shephard made an embarrassing confession.
During the show, Ben, 49, hilariously revealed that the presenter, 48, once left her underwear in the studio.
Admitting that she had a ‘fear of leaving things behind’ in hotel rooms, her co-star shed light on where that might have come from.
‘You have left rather embarrassing things behind before so I can see why that would be a fear,’ Ben explained.
He continued: ‘Charlotte was got changed behind the curtain here and left all of her gear, including her underwear and someone had to go and get it and send it back to her.’
Charlotte gasped as she exclaimed: ‘I regret sharing that story with you this morning that I wasn’t necessarily going to share with people!’
‘The poor stage manager that had to go and collect all of your things including your underwear,’ Ben giggled.
Charlotte added: ‘I was so mortified!’
Elsewhere, Good Morning Britain hosts Ben and Susanna Reid have bid a heartfelt goodbye to a fellow colleague at the ITV show.
The pair both took to Instagram on Thursday with gushing tributes to Nick Rylance who worked as the head of film at ITV Daytime.
Nick is leaving the channel after a long period working alongside Ben and Susanna on Good Morning Britain and he will be sorely missed by his colleagues.
Sharing a snap of himself and Nick beaming alongside Lorraine Kelly, Ben, 49, wrote: ‘Lovely morning lots of smiles and memories good luck Nick, we’ll miss you!’
Meanwhile Susanna also took to her story with a sweet selfie of the threesome with the caption: ‘Farewell drinks for our amazing Showbiz guru @nickrylance’.
As well as Good Morning Britain, Nick has also worked on both Lorraine and Loose Women, and Lorraine herself also shared a tribute for her friend.
Sharing a snap of herself, Nick and fellow TV colleague Victoria Kennedy, she wrote: ‘A lovely send off for our @nickrylance – the best in the biz. Worked with him for over 20 years interviewing more stars than there are in heaven.
‘A beautiful speech by our @vejk100 – we will miss you lovely Nick! Good luck with your new adventure #friendship #love’.
Moved by his big send off, Nick replied to the snap: ‘It’s all been so overwhelming, I have enjoyed today so much. Thank you for being you and thank you @vejk100 for that deeply moving and entertaining speech. Love you loads ❤️’.
