A girl has been left seriously injured in a stabbing. Dyfed-Powys police said it was investigating the incident which took place in Coelbren area of Neath shortly after 7pm on Thursday, November 16.
The victim was taken to hospital with “serious” injuries and remains there in a stable condition, the force added. The suspect, a 14-year-old girl, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article and has been remanded into custody. She will appear at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 20. A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating after a girl was allegedly stabbed in an incident that took place in the Coelbren area of Neath shortly after 7pm on Thursday, November 16. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries where she remains in a stable condition.
