More than two million YouView customers now have better access to GB News with the channel’s launch of HD and catch-up services on the platform.

GB News’ live programming has always been freely available to YouView viewers on Channel 236, and will remain, but from today they can catch up with their favourite shows at any time.
The new HD (High Definition) LIVE feed will also be brighter and sharper than the previous SD service.

The channel’s wide range of programming will be easily discoverable through YouView Search, YouView TV Shows, and YouView MyTV. All GB News content within the app will be freely available, and no user account is needed.
GB News Chief Operating Officer Marc Schipper said: “This is an important investment; our YouView viewers are really valuable and deserve the best and most integrated service we can give them.”

He added: “The beauty of the App is that viewers won’t need to download anything to stream GB News live, on catch-up video on demand, and in better definition. It will just appear seamlessly and it’s incredibly straightforward to navigate.”
The announcement comes just one month after GB News expanded its transmission across Europe.
