A flight to Belfast was forced to make an emergency landing after taking off in Portugal on Sunday morning.
The Ryanair flight from Faro to Belfast International Airport took off at 7:50am before returning to the ground at Faro an hour later.
Plane tracking website Flightradar24 shows that the flight circled above the airport before landing back at Faro Airport.

In a statement Ryanair said: “This flight from Faro to Belfast returned to Faro Airport shortly after take-off due to a tech issue with the aircraft. The aircraft landed normally at Faro Airport but then experienced a minor tyre issue on the runway.
“Passengers disembarked normally and returned to the terminal while Ryanair quickly arranged for a replacement aircraft to operate the flight, which departed for Belfast at 18.18 local.”
A number of Portuguese news outlets have reported that the plane had an issue with one of its tyres after take-off which caused a “red alert” at Faro Airport.
News website SIC Notícias reported that the plane with around 190 people on board was forced to make the emergency landing after a ‘tyre burst.
They also have reported that before returning to Faro, the plane had to “release fuel” while circling in the air before it could land.
Emergency services were tasked to the airport however, the Ryanair plane landed without problem after 9am.
