Fitness influencer Ashy Bines has shared a worrying health update with her fans, revealing she has been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.
The Queensland mother-of-two, 35, shared the shock news to Instagram on Monday, revealing that it was discovered when she went to the hospital after losing her sight.
Bines posted a video of her arriving with her family and captioned it with some alarming words: ‘I’ve lost my sight three times in the last week. Decided to go to a doctor because we were starting to get worried.
‘Got a CT scan, they found a small aneurysm. Pretty scary as husband Steve has had a huge one removed and I also have this run in my family. Lost a young uncle and a nan to an aneurysm.
She added she would be putting her other commitments on hold for the time being as she focused on getting better.

‘I have to slow my life, work load and stress right down. Once we have results from MRI then discuss what happens next with my aneurysm and what else we can do.’
A brain aneurysm is a weak or thin spot on a blood vessel in the brain that inflates and fills with blood. It can be life-threatening if not adequately treated.
Fortunately, the survival rate for sufferers is quite high if identified and treated promptly.
