A block of flats has caught on fire in south-east London with 70 firefighters called to put out the blaze.
London Fire Brigade said a 10th floor flat on Dacres Road in Sydenham is on fire along with the building’s roof.
Residents have been advised to keep windows and doors closed.
LFB said: ‘The Brigade’s Control Officers have received more than 20 calls about the fire.
‘The Brigade was called at 1540. Crews from Forest Hill, Beckenham, West Norwood, Bromley and surrounding fire stations are at the scene.
‘The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.’
