Fans went wild on social media on Friday as a huge Amazon Original show returned for its second season: ‘This is a 10/10 already!’

Invincible, an adult animated superhero film, premiered on Prime back in 2021 and its first series was such a success that Amazon renewed the programme for a second and third series before the finale had even aired.

The show follows Mark Grayson, 17, voiced by Steven Yeun, and his transformation into a superhero under the guidance of his father, Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on the planet, voiced by famed character actor J. K. Simmons.

Invincible is based on the American Image Comics series of the same name, which ran from 2003 to 2018, and a live-action film is in the works. Invincible’s first season holds a 98% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The first of the eight episodes comprising Invincible’s second series was released on Friday and fans took to Twitter and Instagram in droves to praise it.
