Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ son appears to have addressed his dad’s sexual assault scandal by appealing for people to stop lying on Friday.
The rapper’s 25-year-old boy King Combs was handcuffed along with his brother Justin Combs, 30, while federal agents last week raided Combs’ mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, as part of a sex-trafficking probe.
King posted on Snapchat: ‘Stop with the cap’ – which translates in slang to ‘stop lying’.
The musician is Diddy and the late Kim Porter’s first biological child, while Justin is Diddy’s eldest biological child, whom he shares with fashion designer Misa Hylton.
The Snapchat post comes after King and Justin were pictured returning to their father’s Los Angeles home after being put in handcuffs during a raid of the mansion.
Federal agents raided rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles Monday in connection to an ongoing sex-trafficking investigation.
Photos show at least two men were put in handcuffs as police searched the $40 million mansion in the upscale neighborhood of Holmby Hills.
Sources told ABC News that two of Diddy’s sons were detained then released without charges. TMZ identified them as King and Justin.
The brothers appeared to return to the property separately Monday night and gathered their belongings. Justin arrived around 10:30 p.m. local time and left shortly after, then King arrived a few hours later and promptly leaving.
As well as posting his ‘lies’ plea, King recently shared snaps of him and his girlfriend Raven Tracy looking happy as they worked out together.
The post came hours before Diddy was snapped looking carefree as he stepped out for a smoke and a stroll along the pier outside his Miami mansion just days after the FBI’s sex trafficking raids.
The rapper was shirtless as he walked along the same dock where Homeland Security agents had previously been camped out.
Homeland Security raided Combs’ homes in LA and Miami in connection to an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
It’s unclear why the federal agents were issued a search warrant or what they found while ransacking Combs’ mansions, with footage emerging after the raids of the devastation left in their wake.
Combs was not present during the raids, and was seen pacing around Miami airport shortly after.
Combs’ lawyer Aaron Dyer has slammed how the situation was handled, saying a day after the raids: ‘Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr Combs’ residences.
‘There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.
‘Mr Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.’
The inquiry was being directed by Homeland Security Investigations agents in New York, where he was accused by a former girlfriend R&B singer Cassie Ventura in a lawsuit filed in federal court in November of engaging in sex trafficking.
She alleged Diddy controlled and abused her for over a decade – as well as plying her with drugs, beating her, and forcing her to have sex with multiple male prostitutes while he watched and recorded.
Combs has denied the allegations and settled with Ventura out of court.
The lawsuit by Ventura was one of at least four civil complaints brought in recent months leveling sexual assault allegations against Combs.
The rapper and music mogul has been fighting various legal battles, including one against an unnamed woman who claimed he and two friends sexually assaulted her when she was 17.
Joi Dickerson-Neal, another accuser, claims Combs slipped something into her drink and sexually assaulted her in 1991 while she was a student at Syracuse University. She alleges that he filmed the attack and shared the video with his social circle.
Another Jane Doe alleges that she and a friend were raped by Combs and his friend, the singer–songwriter Aaron Hall, in the early 1990s.
Record producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones’ filed a bombshell lawsuit against Diddy claiming Combs subjected him to a year of groping and ‘constant unsolicited touching of his anus’.
