Update: Bungie patched this by the time I finished writing this article so it’s entirely useless. Better luck next time. Original article below:

Destiny 2 launched Guardian Games earlier today alongside a huge balance patch and reworks of the Prophecy dungeon rewards pool. But now, somewhere along the way, an amazing, player-positive glitch has been discovered rather easily.
Yes, Bungie already knows about it and I am sure they are scrambling to fix it. It may be too late by the time you read this. But the glitch is that you can load into Legend or Master Lost Sectors right now where they will instantly complete and give you rewards. In literally like, one second.
The normal rewards for Lost Sectors include exotics, high-end materials, focused world drop weapons and now, Guardian Games medals. So all of those can be unloaded on your character quickly with this glitch.
However, there are reports that some players are only getting medals and not the loot. And others are reporting that this is inconsistent, and may not be working for them some of the time. Again, I am not sure when this will be fixed but if it’s not working, keep trying for now. I’ll update this article when Bungie says it’s actually patched.
Destiny 2 fans tend to complain when Bungie races to patch player-benefitting glitches, which is usually what happens. Would there be anything wrong with letting this run a while? Ehh, I mean probably not, but it’s a ton of loot every thirty second or so to do the loading loop if it’s always working. I mean I wouldn’t care if they left it for a bit but I am going to guess this is going to be a priority fix on their end to not unbalance the economy etc etc etc.
So yeah and uh *puts finger to ear* I am getting word that Bungie has disabled the lost sector by the time I finished writing this article, as I figured they were going to and boy am I happy I wrote this.
