Chelsea and Brentford are among the clubs keeping tabs on Charlton prospect Miles Leaburn.

Interest is mounting in striker Leaburn – the son of Addicks legend Carl, who made over 300 appearances for the club – ahead of the January window including from London neighbours Chelsea and Brentford.

The towering 6ft 6in frontman is on the radar of a number of clubs after building on his breakout campaign last season, with six goals in just 10 appearances this season.

The 19 year-old scored 13 in 40 games in his debut season at first-team level last year though only 23 of them were starts.

Leaburn is already well-known to Chelsea having come through the Stamford Bridge club’s academy before joining Charlton in 2019.

Leaburn was also linked with Aston Villa towards the end of last season.

At the time, then manager Dean Holden said: ‘Miles is not for sale. Miles is a fantastic young player with lots to learn still.’

Charlton remain under no pressure to sell with Leaburn still having two years left on his current deal and rejected an offer worth over £3m for the youngster from a Bundesliga side in the summer.
