It was another memorable night for Britain’s Got Talent as the ITV variety show’s third semi-final went out with a bang thanks to Golden Buzzer act Sydnie Christmas.
But even though Sydnie’s amazing rendition of I Did It My Way by Frank Sinatra left sobbing Amanda Holden in tears, viewers said they saw a problem.
Amanda had picked Sydnie to be her Golden Buzzer act in the audition stages and Sydnie went on to be the last act on Wednesday night’s live semi-final.
She won a standing ovation from the judges as Simon Cowell called her an ‘11 out of 10’.
But some ITV viewers spotted a problem with Sydnie after she won the semi and is going straight through to Sunday’s live final.

@imtherealanon said: “Sydnie Christmas, you… … … will be appearing in Starlight Express. Oh… you’re already in it. #BritainsGotTalent #BGT”
@tigergaz78 said: “Sydnie Christmas invited onto the show got to go last on the show so you wouldn’t forget her and bigged up by the judges…yeah I wonder who’s winning tonight #britainsgottalent #ringer”
Indeed, Sydnie has some track record as a singer. Sydnie Christmas’ biography states she has appeared at the King’s Cross Theatre in London where she was a lead voice in Lazarus. She has also toured the world on cruise ships from Royal Caribbean International and appeared in Starlight Express in Bochum. Sydnie has also released two tracks on Spotify, with the top one, Heal Me, topping out at 1,940 plays as of the time of her audition episode going out.
But many viewers were blown away by Sydnie and said she is their series winner already regardless.
