Hannah Ferrier was left humiliated after she recently made an X-rated comment about Virgin Group founder Richard Branson in a private WhatsApp group chat.
The Below Deck star, 37, is currently relaxing on the British business magnate’s Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady cruise to Tasmania after its launch on Sunday evening.
However, as the ship cast off from Melbourne, the reality television star promptly told all her friends she was relaxing on ‘Richard’s d**k’.
Despite quickly correcting herself to say ‘deck’, Hannah was embarrassed further when word got back to Richard about her unfortunate typo.
The catastrophe began when Hannah gushed to her friends over WhatsApp about Richard’s newest venture into cruise liners.
‘Actually finding the weather perfect! Currently sunning and reading on Richard’s d**k,’ she innocently wrote in a WhatsApp group chat.
Hannah quickly realised her raunchy mistake and immediately corrected herself with, ‘DECK. RICHARD’S DECK. Omg,’ alongside a series of laughing-crying emojis.
Despite the X-rated slip up, Richard, 73, took the typo in good humour when someone sent him a screenshot of Hannah’s embarrassing moment.
‘Phew! Hannah is my wife’s favourite on Below Deck. Thank god she corrected it. P.S. I hope she enjoys my deck!’ he replied good naturedly.
The newest cruise ship to take Australia’s shores by storm arrived in Sydney last Tuesday ahead of its maiden voyage Down Under.
Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady made its grand entrance following a 44-day voyage from the Mediterranean, stopping at Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore and Bali along the way.
Holding up to 2,770 passengers, the massive ship is adults-only with no food buffet in sight among the 20-plus eateries on board, which range from world class and casual dining to late-night snacks.
British billionaire tycoon Sir Richard Branson hopes to disrupt the local $5billion industry by creating a luxury experience that feels more like a private yacht than a cruise ship.
The ship spent two nights docked in Circular Quay before setting sail for its new summer homeport in Melbourne ahead of her Aussie MerMaiden voyage to Tasmania this week.
Virgin Voyages is the first travel brand in the Virgin Group to enter Australia since Virgin Australia, then called Virgin Blue, was launched 23 years ago.
