A pedestrian who sadly died in a crash on the A4 near Bristol last weekend has been named as 49-year-old Justin Edhouse. Justin was killed after being involved in a collision in Chippenham on Sunday, December 17 after it was reported a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle at the junction of Gladstone Road and Avenue La Fleche.
Wiltshire Police are still investigating the crash, which took place at around 5.20pm. A statement from Chippenham Police said Justin’s family are being supported by specialist trained officers.
In a tribute, his family said: “Justin was a beloved husband, son, brother and uncle who will be sorely missed by not just his wife, family, friends and colleagues but by everyone who ever knew him.” Justin’s family have also asked for any donations to be made to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Investigating officers are still making enquiries into the incident and are keen to hear from the driver of a red vehicle believed to be at the scene at the time who may have seen the crash, or captured dash cam footage. The car reportedly turned left onto Gladstone Street and may not be aware of the collision.
