These unsung heroes from the North East are being celebrated for their outstanding achievements and contributions to society.
The King’s Birthday Honours list 2024 has been revealed and a string of people from our region have been applauded for a variety of achievements. All the people named here have been honoured for making a difference in their community, in their field of work or for helping to improve life for others.
