A Cambs A-road was closed due to an ‘ongoing police incident’ today (Saturday, December 2). The A428 Cambridge Road was shut to traffic in both directions between St Neots and Croxton.
Police first confirmed the closure shortly after 4pm and had reopened by 5.30pm. Cambridgeshire Police had urged motorists to avoid the area.
Inrix, the traffic data company, said: “Queueing traffic due to earlier police incident on A428 in both directions from B1428 Cambridge Road (St Neots) to Toseland Road (Croxton). All lanes have been re-opened.”
