Britain’s Got Talent fans have been left devastated and were quick to pay tribute, after it was discover4ed that former star Emma Jones, who appeared on the show in 2015, died from cancer earlier this year at the age of just 32.
Emma was 23 when she shot to fame on the ITV programme nine years ago, bringing the house down at her audition with a spine tingling rendition of Ave Maria by Andrea Bocelli. Using another operatic great as her inspiration for her next performance, Emma sang Pie Jesu by Sarah Brightman in the semi finals, but sadly, didn’t get enough votes to make it through.
Her death was confirmed by a post on Facebook which read: “I’m sorry to have to tell you that Emma Jones has died. She died on Valentines Day after being diagnosed with multiple organ cancer. The doctor thinks it began as ovarian cancer and spread to other organs”
