Wolves under-21s play their final game of the regular Premier League 2 season at home to Brighton & Hove Albion this evening.
James Collins’ side play their 20th game of the PL2 campaign against the Seagulls, looking to finish strongly ahead of the play-offs.
The Old Gold currently sit 10th and have therefore already confirmed a place in the top 16 required to compete in the play-offs, however their final position in the table will determine the route and opponents.
A top 12 finish will also secure a spot in next season’s International Cup competition, something a point will make sure of.
Visitors Brighton sit just two points and two places below Wolves in 12th and will themselves be keen to pass the finishing line in strong fashion.
Wolves were unbeaten in PL2 in 2024 until recent back-to-back defeats against Sunderland and leaders Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Brighton are without a victory in three and last won when they defeated West Bromwich Albion in March.
