Casey O’Gorman appears to have been caught in a lie after claiming during Wednesday’s episode of Love Island that he has never been unfaithful.
The Love Island All Star, 27, claimed he ‘deserved a medal’ for never cheating on any of his previous partners before entering the South African villa.
But MailOnline can exclusively reveal that his last long-term relationship, with a model named Lea Broc, ended after she caught him cheating on her.
Casey and his London-based ex-girlfriend Lea were together for more than three years when she discovered he had kissed another girl during a night out.
Their relationship is documented on their respective Instagram pages, as both parties still have snaps from their romance posted online.
Photos of the former couple’s exotic holidays to the Maldives and Mexico were shared before their split in the spring of 2022.
The relationship came to a sudden end when former figure skater Lea discovered that Casey had been snogging another girl during a night out without her.
A source said: ‘Casey has insisted that he has never cheated on anyone but this isn’t the case at all.
‘He and Lea split because she found out he had been unfaithful during a night out.
‘The girl he kissed’s friend messaged Lea after the night out and she confronted him about it before they ended.’
Casey’s version of events this week were very different, as he told his co-stars during a game of dares that he had never cheated on anyone.
During the game, Kaz Kamwi picked Casey as the Islander who would be ‘most likely to cheat in a relationship’, before she was dared to kiss him.
Molly Smith then asked him: ‘Have you ever cheated?’
To which Casey replied: ‘I haven’t, and other people have, so…’
Later that night, Casey doubled down on his denial and told newcomers Jess and Eve Gale he ‘deserved a medal’ for never cheating.
During a chat about his current coupling with Kaz, Casey told them: ‘I think Kaz is a good girl, apart from her calling me a cheat, or saying I’d be most likely to cheat.’
They then asked him: ‘Have you cheated?’, to which he replied: ‘No!’
Jess then said: ‘Well done you’, and Casey said: ‘Thank you. Where’s my f***ing medal?’
Before entering the villa for the first time in January 2023, Casey revealed he had been single for a year following a long-term relationship.
He said: ‘I came out of a serious relationship a year ago and I haven’t really been looking for anything for the last year.’
‘But after lots of fun, I’ve realised that now I want to settle down and find something real.’
During the series, Casey tried and failed to woo Lana Jenkins before finding a connection with Claudia Fogarty.
Despite Casey breaking it off on the show, the pair admitted to ‘crossing the boundaries of friendship’ once out of the villa.
Casey’s representative did not respond when contacted for comment by MailOnline.
