Sarah Jessica Parker joined husband Matthew Broderick at the star-studded afterparty following the gala opening of their play Plaza Suite at London’s Savoy Hotel on Sunday.
The actress, 58, dazzled in a gold sequinned midi-dress with sheer overlay which hugged every inch of her toned figure.
Sarah added extra height to her frame with a pair of pointed black heels and toted her essentials in a sparkly bag.
Meanwhile Matthew, 61, who shares 21-year-old son James and 14-year-old twin daughters Tabitha and Marion with his wife, cut a dapper double-breasted pin striped suit.
The couple were joined by their director John Benjamin Hickey as they mingled with the other guests following the performance.
Earlier in the evening Hannah Waddingham and Sheridan Smith led the stars arriving to take their seats for the show.
The Ted Lasso actress, 49, was the epitome of sophistication in a stylish blue satin suit which boasted a tailored blazer and dramatic shoulder pads.
Hannah teamed it with high-legged trousers and blunging blouse along with a matching scarf draped around her neck.
She appeared in very high spirits as she graced the red carpet and playfully posed for the cameras before taking her seat to enjoy the show.
Meanwhile Sheridan, 42, who will soon be returning to the West End stage in new musical Opening Night, put on a very leggy display in a pair of skimpy Chanel hot pants.
She layered the look with an oversized tuxedo jacket and slipped her long toned pins into tights and a pair of suede ankle boots.
Suite Plaza is the West End revival of Neil Simon’s play of the same name which debuted at Broadway in 1968.
They were originally announced to star in the play back in September 2019, though the opening night was delayed nearly two years due to COVID-19 .
Sarah hasn’t appeared on Broadway since 1995, when she took over the Rosemary Pillkington role from Megan Mullally in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Meanwhile, Matthew’s last foray into theatre was in 2019 when he made his West End debut in The Starry Messenger with Elizabeth McGovern.
Sarah has finished filming And Just Like That…, a continuation of Sex And The City, which has been renewed for a third series.
Matthew most recently starred in comedy film No Hard Feelings starring Jennifer Lawrence and comedy-mystery Only Murders In The Building.
Sarah recently revealed one of the things she loves about London is its public transport.
Gushing to MailOnline: ‘It’s nice to see new things… Learning the Tube. The buses.’ Look out for her on the top deck of the No 189 to Cricklewood!’.
‘I admire her so much,’ Matthew gushed about his wife to The Guardian in August.
‘Never mind personally – loving her and all that – but I admire her acting, too. Sarah started her career on the stage as well’.
‘So she’s great at handling an audience. She’s as sharp as can be. She’s got real chops.’
Sarah Jessica Parker fans will also be glad to hear that Sex and the City’s full six seasons will stream on Netflix for the first time this year.
The HBO drama – which ran from 1998-2004 and stars Sarah, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis – will be added to the rival platform in early April as a co-exclusive with the show’s home streaming network Max (formerly HBO Max), according to The New York Times.
Netflix will stream all 94 episodes of the show but will not have both Sex and The City movies or the spin-off series, And Just Like That – which is set for a third season.
It is not known how much Netflix will pay to license the series – the licensing deal forms part of a content agreement the streaming service made with HBO parent company Warner Bros. Discovery last July – although SATC’s inclusion was not originally announced.
HBO previously shied away from licensing its original content to Netflix – but last year sent series including Six Feet Under, Band of Brothers and Ballers to the streamer – which saw the shows gain huge popularity once again.
The latest acquisition shows Netflix continues to dominate the ‘streaming wars’ and is so dominant the major studios have capitulated and are allowing the No1 platform to show their major releases instead of keeping them exclusively for their own channels.
The landmark moment effectively means that Netflix’s rivals have handed in the towel, with the major movie and TV studios who spent fortunes developing competitors – an estimated $5bn in the past year alone – admitting they will never topple the streaming giant.
