NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Custom GPUs Debut At UK Retailer, Priced Much Higher Than MSRP

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPUs have made their debut at UK retailers with much higher prices than the official MSRPs.

NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPU Prices In The UK Are A Stark Contrast From US Prices, Up To 41% Expensive Versus MSRP

It’s no surprise that with the release of a new lineup, the initial batch of listings are always priced slightly higher than what we expect it to be, and similar is the case with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 SUPER models, with the highest-end ones even retailing for more than 40% from their respective MSRP. Fortunately, OverclockersUK has listed a decent amount of variants hence we can get an idea of what to expect in terms of pricing, especially within the UK.

Following are the official UK MSRPs for all three cards for reference:

  • GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER – $999 / £959 / €1109
  • GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER – $799 / £769 / €889
  • GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER – $599 / £579 / €659

Starting with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, there are a total of nine models listed at the retailer, with models from Gainward, Palit, ASUS, & ZOTAC. The pricing of the variants starts from £579 for the Gainward RTX 4070 SUPER Ghost, going all the way to £690 for ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Dual OC White, hence if you want to opt for the premium route, you have to pay the extra £90 over the GPU’s MSRP or a +19% difference over MSRP.

  • ASUS 4070 SUPER Dual OC White – £689.99
  • ASUS 4070 SUPER Dual OC – £649.99
  • Palit 4070 SUPER Dual – £619.99
  • ASUS 4070 SUPER Dual – £619.99
  • Palit 4070 SUPER Dual – £599.99
  • Gainward 4070 SUPER Ghost OC – £599.99
  • ZOTAC 4070 SUPER Trinity Black – £599.99
  • Gainward 4070 SUPER Ghost – £578.99
  • ZOTAC 4070 SUPER Twin Edge – £578.99

Moving on to the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, you won’t find any MSRP model, and the cheapest variant available is ZOTAC’s Super Trinity OC, which is going for £780, which is still slightly higher than the MSRP. OverclockersUK has listed confined models of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, but that would likely change in the upcoming days if you are looking for better variants. The ASUS TUF OC White is the most expensive variant which is listed for 899 GBP or a +17% difference versus the MSRP.

  • ASUS 4070 Ti SUPER TUF OC White – £899.99
  • ASUS 4070 Ti SUPER TUF OC – £899.99
  • ZOTAC 4070 Ti SUPER Trinity OC White – £799.99
  • ZOTAC 4070 Ti SUPER Trinity OC Black – £779.99

In the end, comes the top-end GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, and no surprises since the pricing situation here isn’t better than other SKUs. There are a total of four models listed. Interestingly, OverclockersUK is retailing the high-end ASUS ROG STRIX variant for a whopping £1,350, which is almost a +41% bump from the MSRP, but you should expect this from a ROG model, since not only it is positioned as a premium design.

  • ASUS 4080 SUPER ROG STRIX OC – £1349.99
  • ASUS 4080 SUPER TUF OC Black – £1199.99
  • ZOTAC 4080 SUPER Trinity OC White – £1019.99
  • ZOTAC 4080 SUPER Trinity OC Black – £959.99

The pricing of a few models is set at MSRP and it is lower than what the RTX 4080 Non-SUPER costs. For example, the ROG STRIX variant of the RTX 4080 Non-SUPER costs 1559.99 GBP whereas the SUPER variant costs 1350 GBP so that’s a -13.5% lower price for the new and faster graphics card. It is not an ideal price but at least it isn’t as expensive as the RTX 4080 Non-SUPER.

Since the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER models are still a few days away from launch, we can probably expect the pricing to drop down a little. We do hope that the situation is better at launch, since at least by the looks of it, the higher-end SKUs will demand more money from their MSRPs. These cards were also listed in the US a few days ago which you can check out here.
