  • Arsenal fans will go berserk if Mikel Arteta makes wholesale changes this weekend – It’s All Kicking Off

Football fans could be dealing with travel chaos after Arsenal’s FA Cup clash against Liverpool amid strikes on the London Underground.

Transport for London (TfL) have advised people to complete their journeys by 5:30pm, as there will be little to no service anticipated on the Tube until Friday.

This could spell disaster for thousands of supporters across London, with Arsenal’s third round tie likely to be the most effected.

The match will kick-off in north London at 4:30pm meaning that if supporters wanted to comply with TfL rules, they’d have to leave the match at half-time.

According to the BBC, the transport body said it would try to keep lines serving the Emirates stadium open for longer.

The Gunners’ clash with Liverpool is set to be an exciting encounter however the hosts may be without striker Gabriel Jesus for the clash.

Mail Sport understands the Brazil international has suffered a knee injury. The severity of the issue is unclear – but there is hope it will not be a long-term problem.

If Jesus misses out, it will be a blow to Mikel Arteta’s side – who are hoping to return to winning ways following a run of two successive losses.

The tube strikes could also cause issue for supporters watching West Ham’s 2pm kick-off against Bristol City at the London Stadium, should any have planned to stick around after the match.

The match should finish an hour before the closures, however, ensuring that the majority of supporters will have no issue getting back.
