A gang of men on Sur-Ron e-bikes shot at the front door of a house.
Merseyside Police were called to Alvina Lane in Kirkby at 7.50pm on Friday, December 22, following reports of shots being fired. Once police arrived at the scene they found a number of shots were fired towards the front door of a home.
Witnesses reported a gang of men on Sur-Ron bikes turning up at the house before a number of shots were fired. Merseyside Police have confirmed nobody is believed to have been injured in the incident.

An investigation is underway and house-to-house, witness and CCTV enquiries are being carried out in the local area. A cordon is in place covering around 10 houses as forensics assess the scene.
Chief Inspector Dave Currie said: “It is very early stages as we seek to establish what has taken place and we are speaking to people in the local area to understand what has happened.
“It appears a group of males on Sur Ron bikes turned up at a house in Alvina Lane and shots were fired towards a doorway.
“Thankfully nobody was injured but clearly incidents such as this have the potential to have serious or even fatal consequences.
“I would ask anyone who has information about this incident or was in the vicinity of Alvina Lane this evening and witnessed any suspicious behaviour to contact us a matter of urgency.
“Guns have no place on our streets and the public need to tell us what they know so we can take action.
One man, who lives nearby, said armed police were called to the road earlier this year, but added there are usually “no issues” in the area.
