Ant and Dec have come under fire following Wednesday’s I’m A Celebrity…Coming Out after fans took issue with a particular scene they participated in.
The one-off special documented how each of the 12 celebrities emerged from their time in the jungle and adapted back to their regular way of life.
Each star reflected on their time Down Under and delved into how tough the entire ordeal was, as well as celebrated along with the new King of the Jungle, Sam Thompson.
However, while some fans were keen to hear from each of the stars now they’ve emerged from camp, others were annoyed when Ant and Dec suggested they’d guessed Thompson would win the show all along.
Removing cards from an envelope that the pair had supposedly filled in and sealed prior to the series, Ant and Dec flipped them around to show they’d both written Thompson’s name.
But several I’m A Celeb fans slammed the scene as “fake” after they’d spotted a separate clip of the presenting duo on Instagram days earlier with a list of different predictions.

In a video shared on Instagram, Ant and Dec had written their predictions on a different envelope, with the former tipping Thompson to finish second behind Josie Gibson and one spot ahead of Danielle Harold.
Dec had also tipped Gibson to be crowned Queen of the Jungle with Harold in the runner-up spot.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, there were plenty of I’m A Celeb fans who picked up on the moment and slammed Ant and Dec for “faking” their predictions.
“Ant and Dec doing these predictions but going live after the show and not one of them guessed Sam was going to win is the funniest fake thing I’ve ever seen. Both of them said Josie #ImaCeleb,” said one viewer.
A second weighed in: “Erm I don’t think that was their predictions according to the live #ImaCeleb.”
Elsewhere, a third added: “But didn’t they open their predictions to who would win on their live stream and both of them said josie? #ImaCeleb.”
“Ant & Dec are so fake #ImaCeleb,” a fourth said while a fifth teased: “@antanddec Little liars about their predictions lol!! #ImACeleb.”
A sixth questioned: “How come @antanddec’s predictions on #ImaCeleb coming out show were Sam when I saw jungle club on instagram live just after the final and they both predicted Josie? #imacelebcomingoutshow #imacelebritygetmeoutofhere.”

While another attempted to explain: “For those confused about @antanddec’s predictions that was a sketch. They predicted Josie to win in real life on their insta ‘jungle club’ live #ImACeleb.” (sic)
Gibson ended up finishing in fourth place during this year’s series, behind third-placed Nigel Farage, runner-up Tony Bellew and King of the Jungle, Thompson.
Since the finale on Sunday, the I’m A Celeb cast has returned to the UK – with Farage receiving a hero’s welcome upon his return to the GB News offices.
The GB News star returned to screens on Wednesday evening to reflect on his time in Australia – as well as share his thoughts on the government and its Rwanda scheme.
