Wrexham tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday – News

Ticket details have been confirmed for our game against Wrexham in the Emirates FA Cup.

The game will take place on Sunday, January 7th, 2024 at 2pm, at the Croud Meadow, and tickets will go on sale on Thursday 14th December at 10am.  

Tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders first and they will be able to purchase their season ticket seat which will be reserved for them in their online account. Supporters with 10 or more loyalty points will also be able to purchase a ticket for the game.  

We have been in discussion with Wrexham and we have jointly agreed to use our standard matchday prices for this game, meaning that an adult ticket will cost £24.

Ticket prices are- 

Adult – £24 
Senior (65+) – £17 
Disabled – £17 
Student – £17 
Young Adult 19-23 – £17 
Junior 14-18 – £10 
13 and Under – £1 

Over recent times the club has discussed ticketing arrangements with supporters ahead of big games. It was agreed that the fairest way is for priority to be given to season ticket holders and those with loyalty points (starting with the highest). 

This game is not included in the season ticket and season ticket holders will need to purchase a ticket for the game. 

Season Ticket holders can have the game added to their season ticket card and they will use this to access the game. See below for step-by-step instructions on how to add the game to your season ticket card. 

Supporters who have recently purchased or wish to purchase a half season ticket have the same priority as season ticket holders. You need to be registered and have a valid supporter number to be able to purchase a half season ticket.  

Season ticket holders can purchase their standard seats for their price band. Season tickets are not transferable.  

There will be no discount for FanCard holders, but they can purchase the game at full price and select the option to have the game added to their FanCard. Please ensure you bring a copy of your email confirmation with you to the match to identify seat details.

SEASON TICKET HOLDERS AND THOSE WITH 10 OR MORE LOYALTY POINTS:

Thursday 14th December to Wednesday 20th December.

Season ticket holders can purchase their own seat which will have been reserved for them. Also, supporters with 10 or more loyalty points will be able to purchase a ticket. You can buy a ticket for somebody else as long as they fit into the parameters set by the club for the relevant sales window and you assign the ticket to their supporter number.  

THOSE WITH 4 OR MORE LOYALTY POINTS:

Thursday 21st December to Thursday 28th December.

THOSE WITH 1 OR MORE LOYALTY POINTS:

Friday 29th December to Wednesday 3rd January.

You can buy a ticket for somebody else, as long as they fit into the parameters set by the club for the relevant sales window and you assign the ticket to their supporter number.  

GENERAL SALE:

Thursday 4th January – Saturday 6th January. 

Any remaining tickets go on general sale. There will be restrictions against general sale but these will all be announced closer to the time based on sales previous to the date.

Please note no tickets will be available on the day of the game.

HOW TO PURCHASE YOUR SEASON TICKET ONLINE: 

Online tickets can be purchased from www.shrewstickets.com. Click on ‘Tickets’ then ‘Cup Games’. 

For season ticket holders, once logged in to the website, go to ‘Cup Games’ in the drop-down menu under ‘Tickets’. 

There will be a link at the top in a red box to click which, when done, will populate your basket with all reserved season tickets that are in your Friends and Family network.  

You can then choose who will come by removing any tickets you don’t need. 

If you want to buy a ticket for someone who is not on your friends and family list, you will need to add them first before attempting the purchase online.  

Before buying tickets, you can add people to your friends and family list by going to ‘My Account’ and adding a friend or family member by using their supporter number, surname and postcode.
