The A55 was shut temporarily in both directions due to a police incident.
Traffic Wales said police were holding traffic in both directions at Junction 34 at Ewloe after an incident at around 5.30pm.
AA Traffic and Travel reported a crash in the area.
But Traffic Wales posted at just after 6.10pm that vehicles had been “released” by police.

Traffic “released”
Traffic Wales say that police have now “released” the held traffic on the A55 at Ewloe.
The road was closed for around half an hour after a police incident.
But Traffic Wales said that at 6.10pm police released the waiting traffic.

AA report crash
AA traffic alerts report: “Slow traffic due to crash on A55 North Wales Expressway Eastbound at J34 A494 (Ewloe). Congestion to New Brighton as traffic joins from Mold Road and also from J33 (Northop) heading east. There is also heavy traffic heading west between J35 (Dobbs Hill) and Ewloe.”
