In October, another popular social media influencer died after a motorbike crash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Alana Paiva, 21, died from her injuries in hospital after a minibus driver allegedly smashed into her and her boyfriend and failed to stop.
Local reports claimed that Ms Paiva was on the back of her boyfriend’s bike at the time of the crash, which was said to have occurred on October 12.
She was taken to hospital and put in an induced coma before she reportedly passed away ten days later.
The minibus allegedly made an illegal turn at a junction, smashing into the pair head-on, causing the handlebars of the bike to come off.
Ms Paiva’s boyfriend Uilblim, 43, was apparently lucid and able to talk to emergency services after the bus driver reportedly fled the scene.
Tragically, he is also said to have died just hours after the horror crash in hospital. He is survived by an eight-year-old daughter.
