LEGO 2K Goooal, a soccer-based take on Denmark’s most famous bricks, may be the worst kept secret on PlayStation – especially now previous frontrunner Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has released. The title, which has been rumoured for eons, has now popped up on the PS Store’s back-end under the name Build Up, complete with official artwork. The listing has since been deleted, but nothing can ever truly be removed from the Internet, eh?
2K Sports signed a deal with LEGO last year, which encompasses three titles, including the relatively recent LEGO 2K Drive. This football game is allegedly being developed by UK studio Sumo Digital, and will likely adopt an arcade gameplay style to set it apart from sims like EA Sports FC and eFootball. A third sports game is also planned, although it’s currently unclear which activity it’ll be based on.
Nevertheless, in addition to the errant PS Store listing above, LEGO 2K Goooal has already been rated for release in South Korea and Taiwan, suggesting an announcement must be imminent. We’re genuinely curious to see what this one looks like, so we’re hoping some kind of trailer drops in the near future.
