Patrick Grimley was heavily involved with the GAA in County Armagh
Five people are still receiving hospital treatment after a crash in which a father-of-three died on Saturday morning in County Armagh.
Police said the three men and two women were involved in a four-car collision on Gosford Road near Markethill.
Patrick Grimley, from the nearby village of Madden, had been returning from his 40th birthday party and died at the scene.
In total, nine people were initially taken to hospital.
Four of the nine patients were taken to Craigavon Area Hospital in County Armagh while the others were taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) in Belfast.
Three of the Craigavon patients have since been discharged, while the fourth was said to be a stable condition on Sunday.
The condition of the RVH patients is unknown.
Tributes have been paid to Mr Grimley, who was the secretary of Madden Raparees GAA club. He had previously worked as he club’s public relations officer.
The club described his death as a “huge loss” and chairman Paddy Woods said he had lost a friend and a “solid volunteer” for the club.
‘Brilliant family man’
“His level of professionalism was second to none,” Mr Woods said.
He added Mr Grimley, a former GAA player, had been constantly trying to drive up standards in order to make Madden Raparees “the best version of our club that we could be”.
A statement on the club’s Facebook page paid tribute to Mr Grimley as “a brilliant family man”.
“His love for our club was also well known and he will be terribly missed by all those who knew him, not just in Madden but further afield also.”
The statement added: “Our thoughts are also with all those injured in last night’s accident, and we ask you to keep them all in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.”

Armagh GAA paid tribute to Patrick Grimley, describing him as an “esteemed TV commentator”.
Mr Grimley’s brother Niall plays senior football for Armagh.
“The wider GAA community is deeply shocked and saddened following the tragic and sudden death of Paddy,” said Armagh GAA’s chairman Paul McArdle.
The Gosford Road was closed for several hours after the collision but has since reopened.
The police asked anyone with information or video footage to contact them.
