An interactive map shows East Devon residents where their polling stations are.
Many residents will be voting in the same polling stations as they did for previous elections. If they are unsure if their polling station location has changed, they are encouraged to check. Use the interactive map to find your nearest polling station, or you can read through the list for the Exmouth and Exeter East constituency or the Honiton and Sidmouth constituency.
Most polling stations are located in community halls, churches, and schools, although there are some more unusual locations, such as a theatre, a bowling club, and a business on a rural dairy farm. Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday, 4 July.
Voters will be electing MPs to represent the two new constituencies that cover the whole of the East Devon area. The Exmouth and Exeter East constituency includes the towns of Budleigh Salterton, Cranbrook, Exmouth, Topsham, the Exeter suburb of Pinhoe, and surrounding rural areas. The Honiton and Sidmouth constituency includes the towns of Axminster, Cullompton, Honiton, Ottery St Mary, Seaton, Sidmouth, and surrounding rural areas.
You do not need to bring a polling card with you to vote, but you will need a valid form of official photo ID. Postal voters will also need to be aware of new postal voting rules, including the need to fill out a form if you hand postal votes in at a polling station or a council office.
Due to an error made by an external printing contractor, many residents did not receive their polling cards. The contractor apologised to the council for the mistake, and they sent out polling cards to those affected by first class post on Monday, 1 July.
